Dr. Mikhail Artamonov, known almost universally as “Dr. A,” has a complex and blended background guided by a simple philosophy: practice good medicine.

Dr. A believes new medical technologies make medicine more effective and actually make it more personal, which drives better outcomes. Born in Moscow, Russia, the doctor’s earliest experience was as an obstetrics and gynecology nursing aide. He was fourteen years old.

Dr. A earned his medical degree at the prestigious I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, which consistently rates among the top medical schools in Europe. Dr. A received a combined Pain Medicine Fellowship at Harvard Medical School. The program offers only one open position per year.

Continuing his lifelong passion for good medicine, he graduated from the only Fellowship Program currently offered in the USA, in Functional, Regenerative and Anti-aging Medicine. Dr. A is Board Certified in the specialty and has special interest in stem cell research.

A founding member of The American Academy of Ozonotherapy, Dr. A was among the first three physicians in the US certified in both general ozone application (FAAO) and Prolozone (APT). Over the last several years, Dr. A has entered into the growing movement of medical cannabis, becoming an advocate of extensive medical research and applications of medical cannabis. He published a book, “Pot Luck: Why Marijuana is Today’s Medicine” coauthored with Richard Lewis, the marketing guru and mastermind behind the Absolut vodka brand. The book has a continuous 5-star rating on Amazon.
